John Wick - Endless Engines submission (Top 100)

For the Endless Engines CG Challenge

I was aiming for a Japanese city (Osaka), because John Wick 4 had some scenes shot there, and I wanted the steering wheel to be on that particular side of the car.
I also obviously took advantage of a recurring trope in the franchise:
cars with conveniently removed doors.
The scene is not realistic, in the sense that it can be recognized as an attempt at photorealism or vfx.
It is instead a stylized aesthetic
but not quite Anime or Alberto Mielgo adjacent
I wanted to make something high-contrast and very intense.
Some elements were animated in two's others in ones and others have roots in ones and poses in two's, so there is really a lot of room to get lost in the action. which is fine by me.
This was a really fun challenge, I really learned a lot, especially by giving Eeevee a try. Cycles is great, but with my current setup I just can't see myself waiting for days just to see what my render will look like with minor flickering artifacts.
